Hearing Aids

Our Hearing Consultation is designed to find the right hearing aid for you.  We will only prescribe the latest hearing aid technology that is suitable for your hearing loss and lifestyle.

We are an independent practice, we will provide you with honest advice with what to expect from the latest hearing aid technology.  This will involve how the technology will improve your hearing and listening, but just as important, in some cases how hearing aids may not improve you hearing and listening.

We will talk you through the different technologies and styles and how they will relate to your hearing requirements.

Choosing the right product...

There are hundreds of products to choose from.  It is our job to make sure we narrow the selection down to a handful of products appropriate to your hearing loss and lifestyle.  We will guide you through the selection process. We will explain which products will maximise your hearing ability based on information gained during your hearing consultation. It is entirely your decision which style and technology you would like to purchase, we will give you the pro's and con's for you to base your decision upon.

How much do hearing aids cost?

It is a difficult to give a personalised quote without first of all understanding your hearing loss, lifestyle and particular requirements.

Our hearing & listening assessment ensures that we accurately prescribe the right product for you.  This makes sure that you do not spend a penny more than you have to.

Our hearing aids start at £395 per hearing aid.

Our hearing aid prices are based on the level of technology required, not the style of the hearing aid.  The technology levels can cost up to £1745 per aid for the most advanced hearing aids.

All our hearing aids have minimum features such as; digital processing, additional program settings and some level of noise management.

A typical cost for a pair of hearing aids, with good sound processing, active noise reduction systems and Bluetooth/smartphone connectivity will cost around £1,800 - £2,000 for a pair.

It is highly recommended that you discuss your options with our qualified hearing aid audiologist.
